Judging Criteria

Female Fitness Model:

GymBodyz Female Fitness Model Competitors will be judged as follows:

60%-Competitors physique

40%-Presentation

Competitors Physique
-
Fitness Models will be expected to carry noticeable muscle maturity and be lean.

Fitness Models should present a physique that is well proportioned, fit and sporty with a healthy look.

Fitness Models should have visible abdominal muscles such as a 4 or 6 pack with a small waist.
-
Fitness Models should have shaped/capped shoulders and toned arms.
-
Fitness Models should have shaped/conditioned legs both front and back.
-
Fitness Models should pay particular attention to the back of the legs and glutes to ensure they carry
no cellulite in these areas. Female competitions are often won (or lost) from the back.

Fitness Models must not be "shredded' and/or carrying high amounts of visible striations or carrying
large muscle mass.

Fitness Models should have conditioned glutes achieved through weight training only.

Tattoos are allowed however; Fitness Models should ensure large tattoos do not distract from their
muscle definition which can easily happen under the intense stage lights. If our judges cannot see the muscle
definition competitors may lose marks.

Presentation Female Fitness Models Round 1-Sports Wear
-
This is a Fitness MODEL category and competitors will be expected to present themselves as Fitness MODELS
when on stage.

All Fitness Models in this round must wear shorts, crop/gym top and wear Trainers/Sports Shoes/Sneakers.

Fitness Models must wear their number badge on the left side of their shorts and must ensure it can be seen
at all times by the judges.

Trainers/Sports Shoes/Sneakers style is up to the competitor, but they cannot have a high heel, they must
have a flat sole to them.

Fitness Model Shorts should not be a style that has a high waist .

Fitness Model Shorts should show off a portion of the Sports Models glutes.

Fitness Models must wear gym/sports/crop tops that show of their abdominals and full arms.

Fitness Models do not have to wear socks but are free to if they so desire. Please note that whilst
long socks are allowed, Fitness Models should also consider long socks cover up the calves and
often some of the quads.

The aim of the Fitness Model should be to show-case all areas of their body and muscle definition to the judges.
-
Hair and make-up should complement the Fitness Model.
-
Hair should not distract from the Fitness Models face and Fitness Models with long hair should be able
to comfortably move their hair to the side when show-casing the back of their body. The judges will be
looking to see the muscle definition in the back. If they cannot see it, they cannot score it!

Fitness Models’ make-up should complement their face and should be stage make-up or applied
adequately that the stage lights do not drown out any make-up applied.

All Fitness Models competitors should have a stage tan, the skin should look as flawless and
even toned as possible. The tan however should not be too dark as this can also distract
from muscle definition. The judges will be looking for a ‘sun kissed’/beach holiday type look for tans.

Fitness Models competitors are free to also use body/muscle glaze however, they should ensure it is
used sparingly. Excessive body/muscle glaze can distract from the competitors muscle definition.

Female Fitness Models Round 2-Bikini Wear & Heels

Fitness Models must wear a two-piece bikini and heels for round 2
-
Fitness Models must wear their number badge on the left side of their bikini and must ensure it can
be seen at all times by the judges.

Fitness Model's bikinis should show off some of their glutes and can be any colour they feel best compliments
their physique.

Fitness Models can choose whichever style cut of bikini top that they feel best complements their physique.
-
G-String/Thong bikini bottoms are NOT allowed and competitors wearing such will be disqualified.

Fitness Models must wear heels that are a minimum of 4 inches. The shoe style is up to the Fitness Model
and they should wear a style that they feel best complements their physique.

Fitness Models should ensure they can walk comfortably in their heels at all times whilst on stage.
-
Fitness Models should ensure they have a posing and stage presentation routine that shows off their physique
to its best ability and shows their confidence on stage.

During the Fitness Models individual ‘T’ walk they can perform any posing and stage presentation routine that
complements them and shows their confidence on stage.

Fitness Models MUST NOT bend over when performing any back pose and will be marked down for doing this.

Fitness Models must listen to the directions and instructions of the Head Judge during the quarter turn
comparison rounds.

Fitness Models must not perform any poses with their hands over head during the quarter turn comparisons.
-
No lewd, obscene, offensive remarks or gestures must be made. Any competitor doing so will be disqualified.
-
No intentional contact should be made with any other competitor whilst on stage. Any competitor doing
so intentionally will be disqualified.

Fitness Models can wear jewellery but must ensure any jewellery worn does not distract from their physique.

Fitness Models can wear any colour attire that they feel best suits them as long as the attire meets all of
the clothing criteria for this category.
